We are very happy to be guests. Due to Corona we have already ordered 3 times. The food is always delicious, Franconian on a new level. And the savoy cabbage first ? The innkeepers are all nice, whether the waitress or the boss. And if it got a 6 star, I would give it one for child friendliness. Every time there is a small present, soap bubbles, chalk or a drawing board. And today when I picked it up I heard the call from the kitchen, just don't put any green stuff on the spaetzle ... the spaetzle were for my son ... and every mom knows what green stuff means for a child ... I found that so accommodating. Thank you. See you soon next time.

Very tasty food and friendly service. The dishes are sometimes very creative and therefore really a change from the normal standard. We are very happy to be guests, really great!

Do you have friends / relatives who are not from the region? Then a visit to the Maisel restaurant is worth recommending to get you a "WOW" (from the Franconian "Bassd scho"). You can just taste that the dishes are still cooked and not just "warmed up". Personally, I have to highlight the Sauerbraten (best tavern sour roast so far) and the side dish of celery sprayer.

Delicious!! The menu has a lot of the classics and much more. The presentations have a modern twist and the flavors are superb! Super friendly staff, quick service, comfortable atmosphere like at most cozy Deutsche restaurants. Definitely recommend!!

We were to 5 with baby here to eat spontaneously and it was delicious! Although the stale premises scare something, the food was then again modern and creative, great prepared with loving details. The service was quick and very polite, that's the way it has to be!

We were there a few days ago to celebrate my grandma's birthday. There were a total of three different dishes and unfortunately none of them tasted good. The fried potatoes were fried so briefly that you could just serve boiled potatoes. The sauce of Sauerbraten was far too sweet and the sauce of Zwiebelrostbraten tasted like from the bag. The meat was good in taste, but under a rump steak in medium for the price of more than 20 € one expects such a and no flattened "Schnitzel", in which the question of the Garpunkt is unnecessary, because there is only by or raw. There is a point for the very nice service.

I have been coming here for dinner regularly for years and have never been disappointed in any dish. Very nice family business, child-friendly, delicious dishes at a reasonable price. Nice outdoor area in summer.
